Exclamation Help: Panasonic BD55 Wont Access Ironman BD-Live Features

Hi,

Please forgive if this is in wrong area, but looked best place.

I bought a Panasonic DMP BD-55 Blu-Ray player a couple of weeks ago, here in the UK. All my discs have worked great, but today, I bought my first disc to have "BD-Live" features, and was really looking forward to trying it out.

When i accessed the BD-Live menu, it stated that "No network was connected, or that my player is not BD-Live compatible" (paraphrased).

Well the Network is OK, I reset it to make sure, did the Network test etc. in the players network settings and it passed OK, it also upgraded the firmware.

I set the BD-Live feature settings to 'Permit' and no age restrictions are set

Ironman still refuses to access the BD-Live features stating No Network and i dont know if i have a duff machine or not.

I have done a google search for "Panasonic BD55 & Ironman BD-Live Problems"" and variations on that but no results, but did ffind this website.

All my stuff is Panasonic, my TV is a 42" Panasonic TH42PZ85B, and i have a DVD Recorder DMR-EX-77EB which all function just great, plus a couple of older Panasonic DVD recorders in other rooms.

I hope you can help as i am rather dissapointed, especially, after reading such glowing reports in all the magazines etc here in the UK that it was a brilliant system and won many awards.

So if you can throw any light on this, I would be most pleased.

Thanks.

Drusus
