Angry Panasonic BD10A & Fox movies issues

I have a Panasonic Bluray BD10A player
I have updated it with the latest firmware that was issued in August of 2008
I have tried 3 of the new FOX movies and they will not play in my player.
I tried cleaning a few discs but I just bought Babylon AD and out of the box it will not play.
It gets as far as the Menu screen but when you hit play it hangs up and the screen says "reading".
I have let it go for as long as 20 minutes and will not go any further.
I also emailed Panasonic 2 times with no response.
Does anyone else have this problem or have any other suggestions other than throw the thing away and buy a new player???
It seems to only be happening with FOX Movie titles

I have the 10AK version player. The only time that I had a similar problem was with Dr. No. After I applied the 2.5 August firmware update, the problem went away. I haven't had any other problem since then.
