The main reason I do not want to see this is because I have heard from legit friends that its the same film as Forest Gump

I didn't read any reviews of the film before seeing it and when it was over I could of sworn I just saw Forest Gump.

It is. Only more gimmicky and obvious. Well-made, but Gump did it better.

agreed, i thought button was very well made but gump was the superior movie. left more of a dent in your mind after watching it.

Ben Button was nothing like Gump.

Only similarity in story: both Gump and Button take you on a journey through the goings-on in a man's life.

Same director, same look - style-wise.

IMHO Forrest Gump was one boring movie. I never understood the hype around it. Some dumba$$ kid going through things.

Anyway, if you go through the movies like that video does, then I think at least 90% of drama contains scenes with a hug, all war/drama movies will have houg and combat and well, that's a few thousand forest gumps right there.

I haven't seen Burton, but what were the ideas ripped? They show combat scene too? Or they show his boots? Or he hugs a girl?
At that rate Matrix ripped quite a few things from Forest gump too
