Default Region Free / PAL vs NTSC

hello

i am new to the blu-ray world and am looking for a little info. At the moment i own a Malata region free NTSC/PAL DVD player and love it but want to upgrade to a blu-ray player. Will i be able to play my various region discs on a blu-ray player? will the blu-ray player play both NTSC and PAL? if not - is there a region/code free blu-rau player available that will do all the above?

Most of the BD players from PAL countries play both PAL and NTSC content, but most players from NTSC countries only play NTSC content. Currently most BD players do not have region-free playback for dvds, but there are a few hacked players available. Try the following site:
