Hey guys.... I'm still a newbie and I need a little advice. I have a Onkyo 705 powering Polk RTi A5's, a CSi A4 and a pair of FXi A4's. I'm thinking of running the A5's (250w) off of an Emo UPA-2 (125w per) to take some of the load off the 705. I'm just not sure if it would be worth it as the AVR is rated at 100w per.
Would I notice any improvement in the A5's by taking them off the 705 and driving them with the UPA 2? I really like the XPA 3 but that sale ends tomorrow and the UPA 2 is on sale for $269. Thanks in advance for any replies ![]() |
