Talking Track your dvds

Does anybody know of a website that you can keep track of all your dvds for free? I have a very large collection and when it comes to buying movies, I always have to wonder if I own it or not. Any help will be most appreciated.

I use Delicious Library 2 for Macs. I had to pay for it, but I like the interface and features.

I don't really like the look DVD Aficionado. Just me I guess...

Me either,

but I too have delicious library.

It's amazing.

That reminds me to do some catching up with my Delicious Library, I need a Mac Mini or something, I hardly use my iBook G4 anymore

Delicious Library 2 is the best!

Doesn't leave much of a solution for Windows. Nothing really is appealing visually for Windows when it comes to cataloging

Dvdprofiler has both online and offline capabilities. http://www.invelos.com/

Check my signature for a online look at it. You can change the appearrance of how your collection looks on line. It's not free, But with all of the features...it is well worth the 30 dollars.

I think this is the best one out there. Been using it for years.

They have a free version (which does not offer high quality covers though).

do any of these support scanning a barcode to catalogue what the title is without you having to type in the info?

That would be helpful for all kinds of collections and the scanner wouldn't be too terribly expensive, especially if you buy a lot of movies (as cheap as $40 on newegg)

I couldn't imagine the time it'd take to type in or search all of the movies.... then I know I wouldn't keep up with it for new purchases.......

And another.

I feel like DVDProfiler had better features (for sorting/rating/random info about movies), but Delicious Library certainly looks much better.

Libra is a pretty good (and free!) Delicious Library clone for Windows that looks great as long as you take a couple of minutes to edit the default skins.

I've been using it to track my movie collection since DVDSpot disappeared and I love it. Note: there is an export to web feature, but you have to find your own hosting if you want to make your collection available online.
