Default Zack and Miri Make a Porno Master Thread

From Viewaskew.com...

Kevin was kind enough to share very specific details on all the goodies showing up when you pop those cherry “Zack and Miri” DVDs and Blurays into your players early next month. Check THIS out:

- 43 Deleted scenes (totaling 95 minutes)
- 22 Money Shots Webisodes (50 minutes)
- Feature-length documentary, Popcorn Porn: Watching Zack & Miri Make A Porno (75 minutes)
- Comic-con Panel 2008 (23 minutes)
- Gang-bang: Outtakes & Bloopers (13 minutes)
- Seth vs. Justin: Battle for Improvisational Supremacy (8 minutes)
- Blu-ray only: BD Live—which will gives us the option of having downloadable bonus features at some time in the future

Totaling 4 hours and 21 minutes of bonus

Full disclosure: The extra feature - Seth vs. Justin: Battle for Improvisational Supremacy (8 minutes) is only one of two parts. Due to Weinstein Co’s exclusive deal with Blockbuster, there’s a Blockbuster-Exclusive Extra Feature called “Seth vs. Justin: Battle for Improvisational Supremacy Pt. 2.” So if you’re a BlockBuster cat, there’s that. I have no control over these things.

...sounds pretty cool to me except for the blockbuster bullshit

Some great extras. Sucks about the one being Blockbuster exclusive.

I wonder if Blockbuster will be selling their verson on Blu-Ray, so it's available.

If not, there's still a snotload of extras on the disc. A definate buy.

Damn that is a buttload of extras! Haven't seen that many features since The Dark Knight and Rob Zombie's Halloween.

I was split in the middle for buying this one even though it's a great flick, but this pretty much cements the purchase now. Reminds me of another Anchorman-type release (they made an entire Anchorman sequel from the deleted scenes)

Guess this rivals Dogma for most deleted scenes, sheesh. Can't wait to pick this up...except that I might have to also buy the Blockbuster DVD version later on.

Interesting that a (IMO) not so "good" movie gets a butt load of extras, yet a movie that is worthy of them gets little or none at all. Go figure.

I probably liked the movie more than you did but I agree with your comment. Weinstein should have loaded up the Grindhouse BD's with all those cool trailers that were played during the intermission when it played at the theater.

Kevin Smith does a great job with the releases of his films. Other directors aren't so hands-on, meaning more bare-bones releases. Blame the other directors/studios of whatever "more worthy" films you're referring to.

I would say Jay and Bob is only worth it if you can find it SUPER cheap. its hardly an improvement. dogma on the other hand is pretty legit (not sure if u already have it) and considering clerks 2 was shot in digital HD I have high hopes. did anyone see the HDDVD?

Where's Smith's commentary ??? His commentaries are always my favourite and I was really looking forward to listening to one for Z&M . Other than that, the extras are pretty solid.

hmmm...good question. I wouldnt rule it out though...my guess is that it just wasnt included in the press release for whatever reason.
