I need a UNIVERSAL remote! - Blu-ray Forum

Any idea where to find a in-expensive one that works for my Memorex blu ray player? Company screwed me and forgot to send the remote! Thanks in advance.

I'm also in need of a remote. Do you happen to know if this remote allows you to change from one HDMI source to another HDMI source?

I got the 880 for $80 from someone local, I tried off ebay and the IR in the remote didn't work...sent it back and he got away with not refunding my money...so be careful. I love the 880, and so does the girlfriend. she hated all the sony remotes we had and they all looked the same, TV, BluRay, Receiver...and you can modify them to suite your needs....great buy just try to get them at some shop that's going out of business or look on craigslist..

yes....it will even get you another cold one from the fridge! harmony remotes are awesome!

WoW, Thanks, I was looking at the 880 but I wanted to try to find one a little cheaper. Plus, I'd rather have this one if it brings me the cold ones!!!

Circuit City in Denver has them at 149.99. They have a ton left, you might check .

Why upgrade, this one i got is plenty is it not? Whats the major difference in upgrading?

I love my MX-980, it has a motion sensor in it, as soon as it senses movement the backlight comes on. It expensive but worth it

Really nice touch screen. I've actually changed my mind to the Harmony One, which has a touch screen and a really nice button layout.

I have not used this one specifically, but it looks terrible. The button layout and appearance alone are enough for me to skip it. However, I am familiar with their setup and programming, though it's been a year or two. I can't imagine much has changed, and these are just not as intuitive as the Harmony, the amount of customization doesn't compare, the functionality is not on the same level.

URC makes a quality product, but using one is just more trouble than it's worth IMO.

I see a link here to the 520 on Ebay for $29.99, and the 670's or 676's are $30 or so more -- being as my 670 seems to be acting up lately, is the 520 that much Lesser an item in terms of what it does?

Also, (on Amazon) I've seen where some people have taken off the plates on their 670 or 676 on the back, and cleaned the areas with a q-tip, and they seemed to work better after that. I was thinking of trying that as well, until I can find my cables to hook it up to my PC and update it, to see if that's the reason it's acting up a bit).

Ciruit City dropped their price on the Harmon One remotes to $189, which is about as low as I have seen it online anywhere.

I bought one last night and they still had about 100 left.

yea, Amazon is in the $193-195 range (New), and Ebay has some from $178 also. What I don't see and I love about my 670, is this one only looks like it is backlit in the main screen area, and not the other keys (all look black), unless you can tell me otherwise (?). I might try the Help button on my 670, or just try harder to find the cable to hook it up/update it. Thx!
