Anyone have/played it yet? Thinking about trading in some games for it, the average score seems to be about 6.5.

im playing it right now, its pretty good love the killing and stuff. I have gamefly so its a good rental

I got it Saturday as a blind buy. Mine keeps freezing up/skipping in certain places but it's nothing too major. It's alot a fun but I would agree with the 6.5 rating. It's awesome at first but tends to get redundant after a while.

The music in it is worth the play alone.....

Nice, thanks guys. I think I will have to trade in about 8 360 games (no big loss, lol), but that should do it. I wanna play it bad, and I can't wait to hear the soundtrack!

No trophies so it's a no buy for me. I just can't do it. The game play looks alright... We'll see what they do with it later down the road.

So you only want to play video games if other people can see how well you play video games???

I totally agree with that! The fighting combos you can put together is very entertaining! However, the camera is a b-tch! The camera is the main thing that drops it from being an 8+.

anyone watch the interview on the Afro Samurai: Resurrection Bluray yet? the one about the game being different than all other fighting games because body parts are not scripted to come off at certain parts, wherever u cut exactly is where the piece of flesh is coming off

That is a neat little aspect of the game. I may have to at least rent it to try it out. Can anyone compare the game to another popular game? Perhaps Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden Sigma?

Yeah, I didn't quite understand their decision to have such a lame camera....

My fiance kept asking when they allowed so much swearing in video games and I just shrugged and said "It's Sam mother****in' Jackson.... what do you expect?

I noticed they are not selling this at Wal Mart. I got mine at BB and got carded for it....

You are not alone. If the other console gets their just desserts, then PS3 should too. I will not support anything that does not have trophies at this stage, or at least confirmed they are coming.

You can call me a tool all you want and deviate from ANYTHING that remotely adds to the discussion. Thus proving that YOU are the tool. Who will both leave these boards and move to the 360 within the month. So, how about an early good bye.

To those that care. This WONT get trophies just yet (probably never, but no REAL word). Because it falls into some grey category of games COMPLETED in 2008 but released now in 2009.

I play games for the fun of it, but trophies allow me to try things I wouldn't normally try. AND me and my two brothers that live 2000 miles from me compete to see who can get and keep the highest trophy level. I'm sure wanting to do things with my family that I see once a year makes me a tool as well.
