I was going to come in here and post if anybody'd heard anything... but then I did a Google news search and came up with this:

There's already a thread about this:

As for prior questions, I highly doubt they will release past Super Bowls on Blu-ray anytime soon, not a huge market for historical games.

Also, there are not commercials on these discs, they are an edited version of the game that cuts out most of time in-between plays.
