Basic Instinct fluke...or not - Blu-ray Forum

I took advantage of the 11.99 for BI on Amazon and got it yesterday. I plugged it in today to check it out...and for some reason it would not load. Well...it would go into the previews and stick. The time counter would continue but the video would freeze up. I never could get it to the main menu.

I promptly did an Amazon return and should have a new one tomorrow.

Anyone else experience this one?

I bought it and havent had any problem with it not booting.

saw it from netflix and had no issues....almost sounds like a firmware issue, but with your bd player and that title I can't see that being a problem...hopefully just a bum disc and they get ya a good replacement.

Yeah..I think its a bum disc. We shall see tomorrow.

I had problems with this title freezing during layer changes. Not a problem in my PS3, but a problem on my BD10. Haven't watched it a while, but worked fine the last time I did.
