The Academy Awards are on February 22nd. Which of these movies do you want to win Best Picture?

Beating a dead horse... bringing up/asking something that has been discussed a thousand times before

Honestly though, I do really want to see Frost/Nixon and I think Slumdog after hearing some of the buzz.

Aside from Slumdog I haven't heard great things about any of these. I haven't seen them, but will probably catch them when they come out. I'm disappointed The Wrestler wasn't nominated.

i havent seen any of them yet but i really want to see frost/nixon and slumdog but dont really have any interest in the others if that counts for anything... (not voting)

The best movie for 2008 is "The Dark Knight," no matter what. I am also disappointed that Grand Torino was not nominated. <end of rant>

I chose Slumdog Millionaire because it is a brilliant movie. I also enjoyed "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button" and "The Reader" and they will be a day one purchases when released on Blu-ray.

To be fair though, I have not see the following:

Frost/Nixon
Milk

One thing though, 2008 was an awesome year for movies.

I have only seen Frost/Nixon and it was an excellent movie, However, I thought Clint Eastwood got ripped. He should have been nominated for Best Actor.

The Buzz is that Slumdog Millionaire will win best picture but I have no comment because I have only seen the one mentioned above.

I have seen 3 of the 5 (Slumdog, Frost/Nixon, and Benjamin Button). I think that Slumdog definitely deserves the best picture and it is the only movie this year that I thought deserved it over The Dark Knight.
