When do the new Onkyo Recievers come out?

I was just wondering if anyone had any information on when Onkyo puts out their new recievers. Once a year or so maybe? I have a Onkyo 606 but I wanna upgrade to get rid of the buzz, but I want another Onyko, preferably a 707 or 807, whatever would be the new model number. I don't wanna get a 706 or 806 because it will be outdated shortly. Thanks...

If you are taking the opportunity to replace your 606 due to an audible buzz, I would suggest opening your options beyond just Onkyo. IMHO there are better sounding receivers on the market that offer better detail and dynamics. Here are some brands I would recommend listening to:

Yamaha
Marantz
Pioneer's Elite line
Denon

I would bet that your receiver is suffering from a ground loop which is why it is buzzing. If not, then you can contact your power company or Onkyo or the place you bought the receiver for advice.

I agree with DK. There's probably an issue. I have the 605 and I don't have that issue. I also think people who say sound quality is better with pretty much every other brand is just an Onkyo hater, and there are plenty of them around this forum. Are there better receivers out there? Yes, but receivers compared at the same price points are pretty interchangeable with the sound differences being minor and subject to one's preference. Also be aware that different speakers match up differently with various receivers, and to get a true assessment you need to compare various receivers with the same speakers that you plan on using. You may like how one set of speakers sound with one receiver, but a different of set of speakers may sound better to you with a different receiver. For instance, a lot of people love the sound of Harman Kardon receivers, but I've actually seen a few people in forums who totally despise the sound which baffles me because I think they sound excellent. People's tastes vary widely, so don't be dissuaded by people who tell you that all of these other receivers sound better. Let your ears decide that.

I would like to know when the new Onkyo models are coming out too,my guess is that the will be out around summer time. if anyone knows any different please share
