To this day, the guy still gives me the creeps. For me nobody can play a man gone mad better than Vincent Price. The Pit and the Pedulum is a prime example of that. Three of my favorite movies of his are The Fall of the House of Usher, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, and The House on Haunted Hill.

I don't think of Vincent Price as scary per se but I love his films and his
theatrical acting style is enormously entertaining...

I would LOVE to have the movies mentioned by the previous posters....

While I have never been scared by his films I do love both his Horror films and not horror films with Laura being his best film.

I think he's genuinely scary in Witchfinder General. Largely because he's not playing an over the top fantasy type character.

Yes you’re right, Price is terrifying and nasty as hell in Witchfinder General and one of my favourite performances by him.

Another is as washed up Shakespearean actor Edward Lionheart in Theatre of Blood (1973) he plays the character camp and over the top but brilliant in this fabulous dark comedy slasher horror.

Depends on the role, he can be campy as f or completely menacing as a villain.
