Default Notorious (B.I.G.) blu - April 21st 2009

Fox Searchlight has announced another release in the month of April. And its Notorious.

Last edited by crazy88; 03-05-2009 at 04:43 PM. Reason: No! It just called Notorious (no B.I.G in title)

Great. Day 1 pick purchase. 4/21 is shaping up to be an expensive day for me.

didnt like this at all. I'm not a big fan of lionizing the dead. They made BIG out to be some angel, when everyone knows he was grimy as hell on the low. also didnt appreciate how they made Tupac out to be a total lame. "YOU SET ME UP, BIGGIE!" lol come on, man.

Yeah I agree with you on that, they didn't really portray 2Pac the way he would have liked I'm sure.

Although common sense told me exactly what movie the thread title was referring to, it might be good for the thread to say "Notorious (2009)" just to keep the Hitchcock fans from freaking out momentarily.

I was a fan of biggies music, but cmon the dude didn't even write his own songs 95% of the time and had 2 albums before his death. he wasn't even in the same league as Tupac. but they make a movie about him so his "buddy" puffy can make even more money off his death.

yeah wtf @ BIG having ghost writers....on the contrary, HE wrote for other people. Kim, Foxy, Shaq, Tracy Lee, Craig Mack, Puff, Ma$e, Lil Cease...dude was mega talented.

Better flow, delivery, and wordplay than Tupac as well.

just look it up, it doesn't take 3 or 4 different people to write a hip hop song with one dude singing on it. biggie and puffy must of just gave the other random dudes the song writing credit on the album just cuz they were in the room at the time?? or maybe it was because they were legally bound to

I don't care what the album says, he didn't use ghost writers, if he did, how come there isn't someone out there with Biggies flow?

The other writers are the producers of the beats.

Why? because i stated that Biggie didn't write all his songs himself and i think that Tupac is a better rapper? that makes perfect sense. I also said that i enjoyed biggies music
