Default Sony Releases new Gadget (Parody Video)

Here's another hilarious video from Onion News Network.

DO NOT CLICK THE LINK IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY PROFANITY!

This video is a spoof about how we all rush out to buy the latest and greatest electronic gadgets.... the main comedic device however is the extreme overuse of profanity..... so once again...

DO NOT CLICK THE LINK IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY PROFANITY!

If you're not offended by profanity just for the sheer sake of profanity.. it's a pretty darned funny statement about our appetite for new tech!

But just to be clear......

DO NOT CLICK THE LINK IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY PROFANITY!

That was hilarious. I wonder if they were actually spoofing a product made by Sony.

That was great.

But it would have worked better for either Apple (due to the popularity and crowds) or Microsoft (as they really do release pieces of sh*t that don't do what they're supposed to (work))

Nah, I think it is just about the tech market in general. Sony make for an easy and popular target because of their history with fudging products and because of the size.

I think they just used Sony because it is the biggest name in electronics.

My favorite part was...... "Sony plans to release an 800 gig model just as soon as you learn to use the remote on this one. This bleep never ends!"

Apple wouldve been ideal for the upgrades just as soon as you learn to work the one you have.

I've seen that one before... it just doesn't have the same "thruthiness." The Sony one is just so true about gadget addiction.

in truthiness aren't they both the same? They are the basic idea that you say something is "cool" and people want it. I guess the Apple one hit closer to home because I constantly see people IM/texting... when a simple call would be much more efficient. Don't get me wrong there are obvious times when they have an advantage and I use them, but many times a simple message is sent and a conversation ensues and after it ends if you think about it you go "hmm, it would have been faster and better if I just called". And that was what I saw in the apple one. The same is true with the Sony one, it has no features, but lots of frustration, but if it is cool and new you have to have it and use it.
