The Prestige & PS3 - Stopping glitch?

I just played my US copy of The Prestige on BD in my PS3 (with latest firmware as of today, February 9th, 2009), and it played through the whole movie fine. But when I got back to the main menu, I couldn't stop the movie! I hit the Stop button, but was told "This operation cannot be performed here" or whatever the little message says. I had to start the movie again for it to stop properly (which means next time I insert the disc, the film will auto-start already into the movie, and won't go to the beginning like it would on a fresh start).

Now this is hardly a big deal, so I didn't make this thread to complain - I'm just curious if this is normal, i.e. if other people experience this with their copies of The Prestige and their PS3s. It just seems like such an odd thing that I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my copy of The Prestige.

Yep, you're correct. The Top Menu of The Prestige has this Stop glitch ie you can't stop playback while you're in the Top Menu. However, you don't need to go to the movie to stop playback. You can also play one of the supplemental features and stop there. Playback will resume where you stopped it.

Additionally, you can also press the PS button (don't press and hold) to stop playback at the Top Menu. If you stop using this method, playback will start from the very beginning - BD intro and trailers.
