Ping Pong Playa - Blu-ray Forum

Hello, I just seen this Ping Pong Playa movie came out on blu and i've never heard of it. I am a huge comedy fan and I play Table Tennis all the time (competitive tournaments). I think that I have to blind buy this but first I want your reviews please. Thanks.

i haven't seen this movie but rottentomatoes gave it a 6.7 (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/ping_pong_playa/)

i would give it a rent

I heard it was hilarous for slap stick comedy and casual ping pong players. I for one found balls of fury definately watchable, but maybe because expectations were so low.

Tried watching it last night and shut it off about 15 minutes into it. The whole time I was watching it I was thinking, why?

Same here. i also love slapstick, so definitely renting this. It's at the top of my netflix queue. Back during the theatrical release, I loved the trailer. So I'm going to have fun with it.

It was cute and refreshing but too long, in my opinion. Still.. nice seeing an Asian movie that isn't about kung-fu or gangs for once.

just got done watching Ping Pong Playa, worth a rental at the very least. It had its moments, but I thought Balls of Fury was funnier
