If you havn't heard, Joaquin Phoenix is no longer an actor, he is a rapper.

He used to be a clean cut guy and now he appears dishoveled and in disary.

Now, some people say that this is all a joke an him and his brother in law, casey affleck are just making a mockumentary and this whole thing is a joke and a put on.

What do you guys think?

he was just too weird on letterman last night, i think this is just a joke still, i don't know though. if this is a joke, its one of the greatest ones ever. Poll up shortly.

It has to be a joke. If not, I would call Phoenix

for giving up acting considering he is fantastic and one of the better actors working today

Keep in mind this is River Phoenix's brother and the Phoenix family in general is a little off. No offense. I'm hoping this is not an act because Joaquin can do whatever he wants. I give him props because I don't think he's after the cash, as in green, bling? $$$$

Ithink it's a joke.
In that letterman interview, there were a couple times were he almost started to laugh/smile, but had to pull himself back out of it.

Also, if it was for real, I think he would be more angry at people cracking jokes at him.
