Default Live Concerts on Blu-ray??

I've came across some new bd concerts at Amazon , Like Jeff Beck at Ronnie
Scotts and Paul Rodgers live at Glasgow..Is there a url that lists all concerts
on bd????
I'm basically doing a hit and miss trying to find new shows.
Thx

Finding concert bd's is a hit-and-miss exercise as there isn't one place I have ever come across that lists even the majority of titles available.

I check out the various amazon sites (.com, .ca, .co.uk), Towers.com, etc. and I read posts on various forums regarding the subject of Concert BD's.

I'd also be interested in finding out if there is a go-to kinda url for these releases. I love concert bd's and am really interested in expanding my already decent (22-BD's) collection thereof.

John

I don't know if you've read my post on a similar thread somewhere, but you gotta check out Tori Amos live at montreax '91 & '92. It'll give Dave and Tim a run for their money as far as AQ. Not bad for a 17-18yr old recording.

I'm just now starting to get into her (Tori Amos) and I like what I've heard so far. The AQ/PQ is that good Rhett?

Thumbs up K.D. Lang: Live in London w/the BBC Orchestra

The just-released K.D. Lang BD has an impeccable 1080i picture with a sumptuous DTSHD-MA track that is a joyous experience to behold. I realize that I'm the rare K.D. fan on this site, but I simply cannot recommend this disc highly enough. Another much anticipated BD title for me will be Chris Botti's 2nd concert BD title, 'Live in Boston', coming March 31st....I would dare say that, to my ears, the K.D. disc's lush audio presentation even surpasses Chris Botti's first concert release, that employed a PCM 96/24-bit track. I must admit; I enjoy BD concerts on my H/T setup as much as films.

If you've seen the queen concert, I'd say the the PQ is on par. But the Audio will blow Freddie's socks off.
BTW,I just got the Cure Trilogy but didn't have time to check it out yet.

If you own this, is there any chance you could list the audio options? I just want to know if there is a lossless soundtrack available.

I thought you wanted ONE URL that lists EVERY release from every studio/label. Right now there isn't one, so it's a painstaking exercise to try and find what you want.

If you're into classical, check out the Opus Arte site. Their discs are suberb, but they are expensive.

Yea, thats what I"d like to see...Im tired of the hit and miss searching for
new shows.

There are just too many independent labels out there to check out.

I am going to be reviewing K.D. Lang's release for this site in the next few days.

Bottom line...you're NOT going to find one source/URL for concert releases. Maybe one day...
