what do i look 4 when buying a good tv?.. is the contrast ratio important please help

you want to make sure that is full HD 1080p, plenty of connections, mainly HDMI. 120hz. the higher contrast ratio the better...what is your budget and what brand(s) are you looking at???

well my budget is like 1500 after i sale my 32 inch samsung that is a 2006 model

And don't forget to try and get the largest HDTV you can afford. It is best to aim for over 50" so if possible save up for one. But 40"-50" is good enough.
