I was in Futureshop just the other day and seen copies of I Am Legend sitting there priced at $34.99 Canadian. Thats right...$34.99

How do they expect to sell these at a price like that when Amazon.ca has the exact same title for $19.95???

Just another reason why I am glad to be Amazon.ca exclusive now for my movie buying purchases.

dude ur looking at that the wrong way, its actually a great thing! if you print out the amazon price and bring it in, they will price match AND beat by 10% of the difference...so the BIGGER the difference (ie. 34.99) the BIGGER the discount! epic win! lol

It's "I Am Legend"

The price is probably high because they can't move any copies and want to make back SOME return on their investment.

wow that is just ridiculous. I think that's probably why the futureshop that used to be here (Tacoma WA) is now closed.

That's nuts! I remember a month or two ago they were selling the regular Blu-ray of I Am Legend for $19.99 and the special edition box Blu-ray version for $34.99. Sometimes Futureshop's prices are weird.

$22 on the website.

$20 on Bestbuy website. Take that price into FutureShop and get them to pricematch. That would get it down to $18.50.

yea they do pricematch online retailers. my futureshop (ontario, canada) price matches with amazon.ca as long as the item is in stock and not available in limted quantities...which it never really is so its all good! it states this in their store policy. bestbuy on the other hand does not.

The real crime is that people actually pay $34.99 and up for movies. Some people are limited to those prices for whatever reason and it sucks.

There is absolutely no first day release that would make me fork over that amount for a single movie release.

Amazon.ca is great, but they've had the same sales on for over a month. They need to freshen things up a bit.
