Babylon 5 Complete Series Blu-ray release?

With the announcement of the Star Trek series, I hope to see Babylon 5 released as well. The special effects shots are really low budget and dated and if they can redo them with current technology it would be great.

Myself a Trekkie, consider Babylon 5 to be as great, if not greater than Star Trek shows themselves. Its universe is more rooted in science and actual possibilities than what is portrayed in Star Trek.

The entire show was filmed in 1:85:1 ratio ith a Super 35 so that's a great start.

This tv series I never got to see all the episodes but seen a lot. I remember when they had the seasons on dvd but never invested in them if it comes to blu I will for sure.

I also had played the Bab 5 ccg game which was really cool.

Great show - I would imediatley buy it if it get's a BD release.

I would love a redo of the CGI but even without it it is a sure buy for me.

I would love to see B5 on blu-ray.

However, I consider re-doing the SFX extremely unlikely. B5 just doesn't have the fanbase to justify the investment. But that shouldn't preclude the studio from releasing B5 on blu, just leave the SFX as they are like they did with Firefly.

Babylon 5 is My Favorite Sci-Fi TV Series of All Time. It has an Amazing Story, That I never Get Tired of. I would really like to see a Blu-ray treatment of this series. That being said, I do know, that it would mean a costly Re-Render or Re-do of the CG FX. Star Trek got the treatment, hopefully they will do the same for B5. Granted, Star Trek had a lot less FX to Re-do, than B5, I hope that Warner Bros will give B5 the same treatment as CBS/Paramount gave Star Trek.
