Default PSN Games?

I just deposited $25 into my PSN wallet for the sole purpose of buying a few games. My only criteria is that I'm looking for games that have trophy support (what can I say? I'm a trophy *****). I know $25 isn't a lot, but I'm just looking for a game or two, it looks like most are $9.99. What games would you recommend I get?

I had a lot of fun with Super Stardust HD. That's a very popular game. Trophies in it too, one of them is near impossible to get though (Late Boomer)

Many people also recommend: Pixel Junk Eden (although I haven't played it).

You will need to narrow it down a little bit. What type of game are you interested in? RPG, side-scrolling shooter, top-down shooter, tower defense, ???

Unless you just want some popular titles, in which case you can go to the PSN Store and look at the top downloads for games.

i did notice linger in shadows because its really cheap too, i just kinda figured it was a really awful game to only cost a fraction of all the other PNS games, maybe ill still pick it up

actually, linger in shadows is worth for what it costs. if you want flower, ud like linger. both are "art" games and both have trophies.

PJ monsters and SSHD are probably two of the best all around games, and the two PSN games ive spend most of my time playing. unless you are looking for something specific, id go with those.

two games that cost more tan $9.99 are WipEout HD ($19.99) and Lumines ($14.99), and are both very good. dont expect to get all the trophies in WipEout tho, unless you are uber pro at it, very hard trophies. these games are definitely worth the extra money for PSN games, if you dont mind spending it.

Flower is a game you should just have regardless of trophies. the trophies are nice, but its more fun to just relax and not think about any goals when playing this game. i just like to fly around and explore.

Crash Commando is another great PSN title that has some good trophies that are easy to get. best online PSN game IMO.

so there are my recommendations and reasons behind them. they are all worth the money. you should probably add another $50 so you can get them all

all very good suggestions, i might HAVE to put more money on here to get all the good ones, but so far SSHD and flower seem to be the most popular

thanks everyone for all the good suggestions! keep them coming in case i decide to put more money into these

oh, another question, any idea on how many hours of gameplay these games usually take? not that im looking for anything in particular, just so i know what im getting into before i start

Buy Pixeljunk monsters and save the rest for Fat Princess. That game is going to be E-P-I-C.

flower is 4-6 (with trophy hunting and everything) but GREAT replayability. and the most awesome visual and sound experience to date. I'll probably come back to it again and again. (FYI, this was my first PSN purchase since August and it was SOOOO worth it!)

Fat Princess and UNO (please come out soon!, you were announced for PSN in November) will make up the rest of my PSN purchases for the year.

Super Stardust HD, no question. It is the best PSN game and rivals most disc games in quality.

Magic Ball is a cool secondary purchase.

Booty Bay is not bad single player gets boring very fast i found.

Plus multi player is a pain if your with some one thats not going to work with you and do his/her own thing.
