Hey guys

Sorry if this was posted elsewhere. I did a quick search and didn't see it. Anyway, I was trying to see if I could find some more info on the new Panasonic player announced yesterday, and I ended up here:

The link at the upper-right on this page that says visit the official blu-ray site directs you to us. Ditto for the link at the lower-right that lists current titles available on BD. Is this accurate? Cool in either case

So we're definately not the official Blu-ray Disc site. I suppose it's just a human error there.

It's funny but for the longest time I just assumed this was the official site since it's so well done.

Wouldn't it just make sense to combine blu-ray.com & blu-raydisc.com to eliminate any further confusion. I can't tell you how many times I've heard people say they think this is the "official" Website of the blu-ray disc association. There's no question that this site is vastly superior to the other one, but the two shouldn't be competing with each other. They should combine their efforts in my opinion.

I noticed at the bottom of the page it had a Universal logo. Wonder what that means?

Any accolades and compliments are welcome, but this is NOT the official Blu-ray site.
This would have to be the most up to date Blu-ray web site. It is a credit to the Admins, Reviewers, Insiders and News posters and you the members that this is a highly regarded Blu-ray site. The most accurate description would be the best Blu-ray web site, so why wouldn’t companies want to link to the best?

It looks as though bluraydisc.com hasn't been updated in over a year, whereas this site gets better and better all the time. Whoever runs the "official" site should do like the moderator Blue said earlier and link to the best. Don't you all agree?
