If it does, it’s a “special” scene released w/the director’s cut dvd. It never happened in the movie.

Check out the 'scene' in the above link.

At the end a big chunk of the skin from his skull falls to the ground with the xXx tattoo on it.

Seeing as how that's a pre-requisite to actually living {I don't know too many people missing the skin on the entire back side of their head} I'd have to assume {logically} that he got his head blown off.

Along with every other part of the rest of him separated by every other part of him...
