Sony 5 free Blu Ray Promo

I was wondering if anybody know if Sony will ever bring back the 5 free Blu Ray movies Promo

Who knows. When I bought my S350 they had a promotion to get a Discovery Channel BD with snippets of Sunrise Earth and Planet Earth.

It's something for nothing, but the other 5 movie giveaway would have been nice.

I believe that was Sony trying to coerce people into their format when they were doing the 5 movie deal...

HDdvd is gone, so is the free 5 bluray promotion.

Yeah it was more like a deal saying buy a Blu-ray player not a HD-DVD player. HD-DVD is long gone so theres not much of a need for them to keep making those deals.

I got a 3 free Blu Ray movies promo when I bought my Sony HD TV on 22 Nov 08.

I'm not sure if it was a Sony specific promo or a Best Buy specific promo. Either way it was because I bought the TV, as encouragement to buy a BluRay player...
