Default Matrix anniv vs Matrix Ultimate

I see the Anniversary edition of the Matrix is coming out on
March 24th...any idea how this would differ from the version already
out (disc 1) of the Matrix Trilogy Ultimate Edition??

How many different ways can they release the same movie?

well seeing as how they haven't released them individually, that's what they're doing (at least with the first...i'm sure the 2nd and 3rd will follow suit).

consider how much money studios make by first releasing everything as a set for $$$ which the big fans will buy, then rereleasing the movies individually 1 year+ later. makes sense financially, even if it annoys buyers.

There's no difference between the 10th anniversary digibook and the first disc of the ultimate box set. Other than the book portion of the digibook.

The only one I really, really care about is The Matrix, so I skipped the collection. I am positive that Reloaded and Revolutions will also eventually come out, and I'll probably pick them up. I'd rather pick up all three as individual titles because I will never watch the Animatrix or the Documentary in my life. Doesn't justify $74.99 when considering I paid $64.99 (-$25 gift card) for the Bourne Trilogy, in which I value all three movies equally high.

Alot of people only care for the first so they have been holding out for this individual release.

i only want the first as well, but the Amazon.ca sale was too good to pass up.. I'll probably watch them all once, then keep #1 and sell the rest off, or trade in at blockbuster for $10 minimum each. glad to see there's no difference, I don't want the digibook. I'll take a slim case (and maybe buy a blank regular sized one) over the book

Would this movie benefit from remastering or just plain better
transfer to blu?
I saw it last night and this movie seriously deserved better, it wasn't horrible but could be better PQ wise.
