Default Samsung HT-AS720ST

Wondering if someone had experience with the unit, and thoughts about it. Looks like it'll be around 380 shipped, which seems reasonable if it's a good HTiB. I'm looking for HD surround + no quality loss for my 1080p video signals from HDMI passthrough.

If not, is there something in the same range that's better?

Thanks!

Also, I'm getting a TV with VieraCast, I figured this was just a throw-away feature, but is getting a reciever with VieraCast recommended? THANK YOU!

The only warning I will pass on, having set up the system numerous times, is that because of the way the connections are assigned, the receiver becomes very finicky with any sources not using HDMI for both audio and video. To clarify, every input has an HDMI audio, digital (optical or coaxial) audio, and analog audio. Problem is, every once in a while, the receiver decides to cycle through these input modes, meaning that you lose your audio. This is exascerbated with the use of a Harmony remote, as the communication between the two can lead to odd results.

That being said, the receiver does do good HDMI video switching, and can handle full-hd resolution.
