Even though it's is one of my favorite guilty pleasures, I still find it hard to believe the director of Deliverance and Excalibur also made Zardoz. It doesn't make much sense, it's sooooo weird & unintentionally funny.....yet highly entertaining.

I'd love to see this on blu-ray!

There's no need to get into plot details, so here's a couple pictures.....

Haha, that picture of Connery is ridiculous! I remember buying this on DVD, thinking hey, I love cheesy sci-fi & horror movies! Unfortunately, I couldn't even finish my attempted viewing of Zardoz. Maybe I'll try that DVD again someday - though after seeing that picture, maybe not!!

I saw this at a midnight screening at the IFC Theatre in New York City last year. They projected part of the very beginning--the "wizard" guy's introduction to the events of the film--backwards, so his floating head was upside down and he was talking backwards...it only added to the hilarity of it all.

Did a "drunk movie night" with some buds a couple months back and watched this. Gets better with each consecutive viewing.

I've never heard of this film until now. I want to see it so bad! Someone needs to release it on BLU! I wonder if FOX would license it to Anchor Bay?

It is on dvd. You must view it.

the idea of watching this movie is much better then actually watching it.

I can't believe this isn't in the works by now. It is a cult classic. The only issue must be aquiting the rights to release a blu-ray. Does FOX still have them? Are they notoriously stingy with their catalog and/or genre titles?

Zardoz is an excellent campy '70's cult flick, and is definitely unintentionally (or maybe intentionally) hilarious...I do like post apocalyptic/dystopian films, and this definitely fits into that genre.

Would like to see this on Blu as well.

I've always thought that Zardoz is already on blu-ray lol. Very awkward movie. It's not a bad movie, per se, it just comes off as silly at times. I'd probably pick it up if released.
