I'm trying to narrow down what went wrong with my LG blu ray drive. I tried searching around for reasons, and only found one other person with the same problem on an amazon review of the drive.
Max Payne blu ray won't play on an LG GGC-H20L blu ray, in 64 bit vista, with an nvidia GTX295 gpu. It lags my computer alot, which I never see. Cyberlink PowerDVD just displays a black screen. It worked just fine with 32 bit vista and an ATI 3870 gpu. Every other blu ray in my collection works just fine. I doubt the upgraded gpu is an issue, as nvidia is very good with drivers. Is this just an LG firmware issue for vista 64? Everything is up to date with the latest drivers/firmware. Makes me wonder if i'll get stuck with another movie in the future that wont work. I even tried another FOX blu ray movie that worked as well. What makes one blu ray work over another? I've had newer and older blu rays than this one that have worked. Any ideas? |
