All speakers can deliver the DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD sound as long as either your receiver or player decodes it. Granted, the better the speakers, the better the sound, but all speakers can handle the HD audio.

+1

From what i've heard the Polk SDA's are an extremely well built speaker. They were produced from 1985-1991, and still remain a fairly sought after speaker. I've heard these SDA's throw a massive sound stage too. It might be worth your while to see if you can scoop a pair of these up if you can get them for the right price. So long as its "style" doesn't bother you, these speakers would be well suited for most any surround sound system.

EDIT: If you have more complex questions about these speakers, PM DriverKing. I'm pretty sure he has a pair of these speakers in his HT setup!
