It's the best book ever written IMO. I really identify with Holden Caulfield in many ways. Not so much on his connection with his sister, but with his relationship with the rest of the world. He had it figured out at a really early age.

Probably the only "high school book" I appreciated when I read it in high school. I've since read it a few more times. I love it.

read it last year for my creative writing class, I loved it

...I was assigned this last year. I read a few pages and decided then I wasn't going to read it because I hated what I read so much. So I made my way through the entire unit without ever reading the book. AND got an A+ on the unit paper.

I love this book! I wouldn't be surprised if in the future, they release a film adaptation of it.

It was in Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, so it's awesome!

Plus good read too.
