Default Sony Bravia 32'' BD Worthy?

Hey guys,

I have a Sony Bravia 32'' KDL-32V3100.

I have a media sever with the drive and space to back up blu-rays.

My question is on a 32'' would it be better then DVD's i sit aproxx 2m-2.2m away from the screen.

Or should i offload it and get a 40'' +?

Yes, it will be better. MUCH better. I've got a Vizio 32", and the difference is amazing. Go for it! Besides, this way you can save the money to get a nice sound system.

I have a 32" Sharp Aquos(1080p) in my bedroom. I don't regret it at all. It looks and sounds great with a BD player.

It could be better with 480hz

I am getting rid of a 42" Vizio to go with a 32" Samsung or LG in my bedroom. I will be hooking up the new TV with my old BD player Panny BD-10AK. I sit about 3 meters away.

2m is ~6 feet.
The ideal screen size for that distance is 46".

My friend is looking for a 32" or 37" LCD TV and asked me to help him look for some. Personally, I think, since he's interested in Blu-ray, he should get a 1080p set even if the screen size is in the 30" to 40". Is 1080p worth the difference in price for TVs this size?

My freind just bought one of these the other day and has it all set up in his bedroom and it looks very good for a 32inch HD tv. 1080p does make the difference.
