Default Waiting For Blu-rays To Be Released

For years now there has been a large catalog of films on DVD we have taken for granted.

But now Blu-ray is here we don't have that luxury as of this time. The format is growing but many favs are still years away from making it to Blu-ray.

At the same time many ppl like myself don't want to resort to watching a DVD. It's just not the same and you can't help but every 5 mins when watching think man how cool that would be on Blu-ray.

So i play the waiting game.

I just fancied venting about this as it's relay gotten to me of late.

I don't know if anyone else feels the same

i dont really get what you're asking in this thread

Iam but i was watching Scarface the other night and it just pissed me off that i wanted to watch it but was forced to watch the movie in such poor quality.

Blu-ray has become what i expect of a home cinematic experience and while yes i still enjoyed the movie it did lose a lot from not being in HD.

understandable, but remember when you watched DVDs before you even had blurays? you wouldn't think twice about letting the PQ/AQ affect your movie-watching experience (unless of course the dvd had a noticeably horrible transfer and/or audio). we've all been spoiled by bluray and its HD capabilities, and of course i'd prefer to watch all movies in the highest quality possible, but as long as i can still enjoy the movie i personally don't care what format it's on

Yep. Everytime I watch Star Wars now I'm sitting there thinking how awesome it would be on Blu-ray.

no, i don't feel that way. if i did i would miss out on some great films. i saw breach on dvd today and loved it. i can't see it in high definition. does that mean i wait on seeing a great movie? no, as that would be silly.
