Default 'Heroes: Season One'

I see that this has been announced for HD dvd. Link

Any chance of it being released on Blu-ray? I just want to know if I should purchase the regular dvd set or wait for the blu-ray.

Thanks.

I have a hunch their tune will change once blu-ray is ahead and the definite leader. Universal will be playing catch-up. I can't wait!

It's a shame, but I will get it on 'regular' DVD, since they will have bonus deleted scenes and the like. I have a feeling, until UNIVERSAL caves in, some things will have to be bought that way.

Look at the bright side...if you can wait a couple of years, you could own a HD-DVD player and Season One of Heroes dirt cheap once the format goes under...

Default Heroes (TV series) NOT on Blu-ray?

Isn't that Universal? (I.e. no Blu ... ?)

Sorry if this has been asked before, I didn't find a thread ...

basically Heroes is there last big thing before xmas, unless bourne is out before xmas which universal would rush to get out. its hd dvds last decent thing before a huge rush of blu titles flood the market and it becoes 4:1 blu-ray.

Default HD = Hurry (up and) Die.

For what it's worth, I'm holding out for Heroes on Blu-Ray...

..Sucks (HD)DVD gets dibs since Heroes is my favorite (recent) show, but I gotta stay true. I gotta stay Blu.

Man, I'll NetFlix the HD-DVD version, only 'cuz I have friends that I'm determined to expose to the greatest Sci-Fi show since Quantum Leap... Also, I have got to see those extras...

..Stinkin' Universal. I refuse to support your mad quest for power over my format choice.

Well, that didn't hold true. I have it on order from AMAZON on HD-DVD.
