Question Computer UPS on Home theater?

I just bought a Uninterruptible power supply (UPS). It is rated at 750watts and has "AVR" or Automatic voltage regulator that provides battery backup if power drops below 90v or over 140v. It is plugged into a 2900joules surge protector which has noise filtration "emi/rfi filter". Anyways, what i was wondering was is it safe if i use this to protect my tv and satellite dvr? All i want it for is if a "brown out" occurs which is pretty common here in Florida. According to the specs the Sine wave is simulated so i know it is not good to use it with analog devices but an LCD and DVR should be fine? all i need is for it to provide me with at least 2 mins so i can unplug and shut down my tv and dvr in case of a voltage drop or "Brown out". I am plugging my amp and other components to the "Surge protection" slots and not the UPS slots. Only thing i need is for it to give me UPS on the TV and Satellite dvr and maybe on the ps3 for when there is a new firmware update installation it protects it.

Edit: It is a CyberPower AVR1285.
