You eliminated your two most profitable options... Ebay being the best. Blu-rays don't have a ton of buy-back value IMO... I would NEVER pay more that $7-8 each for a new Blu. I wouldn't consider them worth selling unless it is a huge collection.

Also, stores will not give you ANYTHING worth your time of even walking there.

Yeah I sell my DVDs to co-workers and the ones I can't, I sell to Hasting's for store credit. Unless I don't think I'll get much then I just give them to my sisters.

I go to blockbuster (2 - 3 bucks a DVD) or sell to co-workers, but rarely do I see much of a gain so these days I just keep them unless I really need the credit or cash

[QUOTE=ZackL;1698247] Blu-rays don't have a ton of buy-back value IMO[QUOTE]

I couldn't disagree more. Most used blus (at least newer releases) drop only slightly in value when used unless you get one hell of a deal. For instance i was insanely happy when i get horton hears a who last week for $19, i thought that was a hell of a good deal.

And does blockbuster really buy used dvds? I used to buy dvds from there all the time, but never did i see or hear anything about them buying any....

Default Deja Vu Discs

There is a store in North York Toronto called Deja Vu Discs at the S.W. corner of Steeles and Dufferin. You can sell to them used DVD's, CD's, Blu-ray's and games.

I had about 60 DVD's I wanted to sell and they bought about 40 of them. They gave me an average $2+ cash per DVD with a receipt. You just need to show them ID so they know you're 18 years old and over. I was a little disappointed that they bought all but 20 of my DVD's. Apparently they won't buy popular titles or titles they have a lot of stock of.

They won't give much more for used Blu-ray's. I've only found that Blockbuster gives $10 per used Blu-ray but in-store credit though. If you regularly rent from Blockbuster you could try them to sell your DVD's for their in-store credits.

wherehouse.com is an online site that you can send your dvds in for credit, not fantastic trade in values but not horrible either. about on par with most stores i'd say.

Same here, four or five bucks per DVD, AND they sell easily as all my coworkers (except for two) are still stuck in DVD land and have not made the hi-def plunge yet. Works great for me!

Cool

Try private rental outlets. I lucked out when a guy was opening his own rental outlet. he bought close to 500 dvds off me for 5$ each to stock his shelves. A nice chunk o change to buy new blus with!
