Xbox 360 Surround Sound - Blu-ray Forum

Yes, yes, I know, 360 = no BD = not huge here. But this IS the audio section.

Anyway, I have a 1st generation Xbox 360 (Which has no optical or HDMI outputs), and I was wondering if there's actually any way to get the Surround Sound in the games. Thanks in advance.

the optical port is in the a/v cable

Look at the big plug that goes in the back of the Xbox for A/V output. Beside the cable coming out is the optical port for surround sound. Hook up= Enjoy.
