Talking NIN Blu-ray

Just watched my Nine Inch Nails disc last night although I've had it for awhile. It looked and sounded amazing.

However I did find it humorous when the concert began with the entire band behind a giant gauze-like veil. "Gee, that's what I wanted in hi-def, Trent Reznor behind an 80-foot tall shower curtain."

Actually I think the giant curtain is kind of cool, just thought it was funny to get that in "HD".

I guess you have to see NIN to appreciate the scrim. Its amazing to see all the images and then suddenly Trent Reznor can be seen illuminated behind it. Incredible.

Yes. The incorporation of unrelated video like that seems like it is only done by industrial bands who generally don't have the money to do it as well as NIN does. By unrelated I mean not just more lame shots of the band. It's too bad that creative bands just don't make as much money.
