UPS missing merchandise - Blu-ray Forum

After a search about missing merchanise and no much found, its my bealive that this post belong here (hope I'm right)

Have anyone of you had this situation, what amazon does on this? I have notified them about this.

From UPS site:

HOUSTON, TX, US 03/02/2009 6:39 P.M.
MERCHANDISE IS MISSING.

UPS WILL NOTIFY THE SENDER WITH ADDITIONAL DETAILS. / ALL MERCHANDISE MISSING, EMPTY CARTON WAS DISCARDED. UPS WILL NOTIFY THE SENDER WITH DETAILS OF THE DAMAGE

At least UPS knows it is missing. USPS wouldn't have a clue what happened to your package. Plus typically UPS packages are insured up to $100 w/o paying an additional fee.

as notified by e mail they re-send order and next day free of chagre
