KEF KHT3005 Sound System! Any good? - Blu-ray Forum

Any opinions on this system. My room is 12x21. Is this too much speaker for a room this size?
Also is it a good deal? The black version is an extra 700 bucks.

Kef Makes good speakers, and they are a great company, but I wouldn't pay that much for those, IMO.

Check out this Energy setup, I just got something similar and they are excellent. And then look here for a Sub and you would spend less and prolly get more. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=85212

I wouldn't spend that much on those imo. If your looking for something small in size that sounds good you should check out my Onkyo 7.1 setup in my gallery. I'm replacing them with Kef speakers. I think the Onkyo setup is going for around $300 and it sounds remarkably good. I'm selling mine if interested. The Klipsch quintet is pretty decent setup also. The Kef speakers your looking at are good speakers...but not worth paying that much.
