Red face What to use to clean your Blu-ray player?

I'm just wondering what you could use to clean the "lens" of your player.......is it safe to clean it with a regular DVD lens cleaner???? Please help..........

I'm kinda curious as to why you would need to clean one. How would the lens get dirty?

are you michael phelps? smoke kills

they make discs that have those little lens brushes on them, and the ones for the blu-ray players will clean both the red and blu lens, think i have seen them on amazon for pretty cheap before.

edit: http://www.amazon.com/Maxell-BR-LC-B...6995318&sr=8-1

they had 1 for $5 from another company also on amazon, i can't see their being much difference between this one and that one, but i am too lazy to go back for the other link lol

There are no brushes on the Maxell cleaner. The one you linked to uses AIR through a small hole,....the speed of the spinning disc forces the air through at a fair velocity.

BTW,...I own this one,...and it does a good job. ANY laser lens can accumulate dust occasionally. The disc also has some test patterns and such on it.
