Are these a re-release of the original blu-ray discs with the video and audio problems corrected? I would like these, but the previously released versions have horrible reviews.

It's a Paramount 2 pack like the ones they had few months back.

Will the titles be better than or different from the ones here? This is a trilogy I'd like to get at some point.

Yeah, this is why we held off on picking up this trilogy, because we heard things that weren't right with the PQ & AQ.... hopefully paramount gets this right sometime soon.

Will these include Lossless Audio.....would be so much better than DD......

I think this is just a repackaging. I doubt Paramount will remaster these until MI4 hits theaters, when or if that ever happens.

The existing trilogy is MPEG-2 on a BD-25 without lossless... The third one has pretty good PQ. Still it's better than the DVD.

+1......i gave the DD copies i had to a friend of mine who does not yet have SS. SO he did not mind that it was not lossless....

This two-pack is just the older releases put together for retailers like Wal-Mart. There has been no lossless audio added to them or remastered video.

Has anyone been able to find these in Wal-Mart like the previous Paramount 2 packs for $19.99 and $24.99? I see that this time the following are available for $24.99 and $29.99 at most online places:

Top Gun / Days Of Thunder
Clear and Present Danger / The Hunt For Red October
Sweeney Todd / Sleepy Hollow
Mission: Impossible / Mission: Impossible 2
Hustle & Flow / Black Snake Moan
The Love Guru / Blades of Glory
Sahara / Failure to Launch

The third one looks terrific to me, and the second very good, though not perfect. The first...what happened. Still, in a two-pack for $19.99/$24.99 I'd say it's worth it.

Wal-Mart does not carry them in stores. They are only available online.

$30 for 2 blu-rays? I'll pick these up at some point and just buy the third one individually...not a priority though so may end up waiting for a better release by accident.

Do these movies still look and sound good? I'm not talking reference material or anything -- but definitely a huge step up from DVD right?

From the Amazon.Com reviews it's hard to tell. Sounds like they're pretty good but not great, probably the main reason I'm not in a hurry to get them yet.

Can't really tell from the reviews on the first Mission Impossible about the video quality. Is it just a sorta dirty print on the blu ray, or is it DNR'd a lot?
