Super-Blu Player? - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone know of any good deals on a Super-Blu Player? I am considering getting a player after I move back to Ohio this summer and I'd like to be able to get both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD since those are about $2 - $10 a movie on eBay.

Why would you want to get HD DVD? That format is deader than VHS, if you ask me.

Odd for a fellow hater of Toshiba like yourself to be endorsing the product they gave up on last year. Gladiator is hitting blu-ray THIS year, not sure on Smokin' Aces.

I believe the Super-Blu is by LG, not Toshiba.

I've seen numerous copies of it on eBay.

I would question their authenticity . . . I can't find hide nor hair of it anywhere online, import or otherwise. I'm not even finding any in the completed listings on ebay.

just buy an hd-dvd player if u want it that bad. Be alot less cheaper.

I also agree it's cheaper just to buy a HD DVD player but one of the main advantages of the LG BH200 along with playing HD DVDs is that it can be made to play different region Blu-rays if you like to import titles. Anyone who knocks the BH200 probably has never owned one or seen how well it performs so just ignore them.
