European games in USA consoles - Blu-ray Forum

Does any of you know if I buy games in europe, would they work in my USA console, (singstar and others).

bluray games arent region coded but i think DLC is

no it's not. I have JPN games on my US PS3.

google it and you can find a FULL walk-through.

we're both right. PSN games aren't locked. But DLC is (from what I know) I read it wrong... my bad.

I know if you get a UK littleBIG planet character you can't use it in the US...

All games are Region Free (Including PSN games)
All DLC are Region LOCKED.

So if your in the US and you import a UK game, you can still download US DLC but not UK DLC. Correct?

yeah thats what i thought. so if the OP gets a EU copy of singstar it will work on a US console but he might not be able to download US DLC
