Someone would have to back me on this, but I think LB makes a region free player.

No manufacturer has a region-free bd player.

My LG BH200 can play region A and region B blu-rays without modification - just a handset hack.

It plays them very well too.

Do you know if it internally decodes DTS-HD and Dolby True HD (passes via PCM through HDMI)? It's not clear in the manual.

yes, mine does -A-B-C. dvd pal - ntsc.
i bought the resident eval trilogy and unknown to me, it is a U.S.A. set.
the second disc is a ''B'' region and the other 2 are all ( A.B.C) all.
as fro the dvd part, i converted it myself, for around £20.

and my home deck is a SONY BDPS350 from argos uk.
