Svr 2009 - Blu-ray Forum

I havent played the last 2 or 3 SVR games...i use to get everyone of them. I like wrestling...I still watch every time it comes on and am pumped up about wresltemania..

Anyone played SVR 2009 yet and how is it..worth a buy?
And is there any DLC for it..and will there be more..usually theres not i guess.

Thanks i was thinking about going and getting it..just wanted to see what you all thought that played it.

I would recommend it, especially if you can find it on sale. The Legends game that comes out next week lets you import characters from this game to that one.

I hated the last few smackdown games, but this one got lots of things right.
-The loading times are faster
-AI is improved.. they will pin you after a finisher, no more 3 counts from a shoulder block.
-Create a Finisher is a cool innovation.

There's still room for improvement, but the game is worth it. They released DLC for the PS3 version, a few characters and couple of costumes I think. I have the 360 version, so I couldn't get them sadly. Also check out Legends of Wrestlemania which is out next week. It's a bit too arcade-ish for me, but many others like it.

Download and try the demo for both of these titles from the PSN store.
