Default Yamaha RX-V663(HTR-6160)+PS3
I have found most of the info about configuring these two together as far as PCM on the PS3. The part I have not found is what do I want to set the reciever too? I know it wont say "truehd" or etc, it does say "PCM" but I am having a hard time understanding that because of the PS3, how do I know what kind of output I am getting. Currently I am using Scene 1 "dvd viewing" and it only shows PCM but it only shows 2 speakers on the reciever

Oh also, Because the PS3 decodes and sends the signal as PCM...is the reciever treating the audio as whatever I had selected in the movie? IE if the movie is TrueHD is the PCM that is being output indeed TRUEhd?
