Velodyne DLS Series any good? - Blu-ray Forum

I bought speakers two or three weeks ago and I am very happy with my B&W 683's but a subwoofer would beef them up niceley. I am not looking now, but Future Shop has a DLS 4000R for $800 and a DLS 5000R for $1000. Are DLS's a good Velodyne subwoofer line, and is that a good, desent, or poor price for them?

Poor prices. You can do better at $1000.

Velodyne subwoofers are very good. Audioholics Store has a big sale on them. Their prices are better than Future Shop even with exchange rate.

I have the DLS 5000 and it's excellent. It was on sale when i bought it at FS at about 700$ so i would wait for a sale if i were you.

They go for $695 at some sites online. That is better than $1000.
